1. UK provider and business customers
SHORTFORM provides video-production and related content services in the United Kingdom, primarily to business customers. Contact us at contact@short-form.studio. The supplier details and any applicable tax treatment for a booked project will be stated in its written quotation or service agreement.
2. Website information
Website descriptions, examples, availability, package contents, prices and timings are invitations to enquire and may change. They are not a binding offer. Obvious errors may be corrected. A project becomes binding only when the parties accept a written quotation or service agreement and any stated deposit or booking condition is met.
3. Scope and client responsibilities
The written quotation or brief will define deliverables, aspect ratios, filming time, locations, schedule, revisions and usage. The client must provide accurate instructions, timely feedback, safe access, permissions, brand assets and authorised representatives. Delay or extra work caused by changed instructions may affect price and delivery.
4. Prices, VAT and payment
Website prices are in pounds sterling. The written quotation or service agreement states what is included, whether VAT applies, any deposit, invoice dates, payment method and consequences of late payment.
5. Cancellation, postponement and weather
The written quotation or service agreement states the cancellation and rescheduling windows, charges and treatment of deposits. Shoots may need to move for unsafe conditions, illness, travel disruption, unavailable locations or weather. Drone work is always subject to aviation rules, permissions, insurance, weather and a suitable operator.
6. Revisions, approval and delivery
Only revisions included in the agreed scope are included in the price. Further changes may be quoted separately. The agreement should set feedback deadlines, the approval process, delivery method, file-availability period and the point at which work is treated as accepted.
7. Intellectual property and usage
The quotation must identify who owns raw footage, project files and final edits, and what licence the client receives after full payment. Music, fonts, stock media, performers, locations and other third-party material remain subject to their own licences and releases. The client is responsible for material it supplies and confirms it has permission to use it.
8. Performance and platforms
SHORTFORM will provide services with reasonable care and skill but does not guarantee views, engagement, leads, sales, advertising approval or uninterrupted availability on any social platform. Platforms and algorithms are controlled by third parties.
9. Liability and events outside control
Any project-specific liability limits will be stated in the written agreement. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Neither party is responsible for delay caused by events genuinely outside reasonable control, subject to reasonable notice and mitigation.
10. Confidentiality, data and termination
Each party should protect confidential information and use personal information consistently with the applicable privacy notice. The service agreement must define any termination rights, payment for completed work, return or deletion of materials and clauses that continue after termination.
11. Consumers
The service is designed mainly for businesses. If SHORTFORM contracts with a consumer, mandatory UK consumer rights, cancellation information and remedies apply and are not removed by these terms.
12. England and Wales
Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, UK business contracts will be governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction. Any different arrangement must be stated in the signed service agreement.
